I put a chest a little off the road right across the street from the Iron Mine with the intention of putting the tools I make in there.
I dropped off some sickles (low QL because of my poor weaponsmithing), some pickaxes, and some iron chisels. I'll have some saws in there in a few, too.
This should save people the trouble of having to dig through 800 barrels and chests in the mine.
Please do not take tools "just to have" them. Only take one if you need one. Toolsmithing is a very very very very boring job, which is why we have so few.

Tool chest has been moved to just inside the Iron Mine gate, on the grass. You can't miss it.

Toolsmithing is no more boring than any other kind of smithing. Certainly less boring than digging. XD
Also, I may be mistaken, but I believe that while the sickle blade is bladesmithing, but the finished sickle is considered blacksmithing to improve, not weaponsmithing.
