These are the guidelines which must be common to each city:
1. A leader must be chosen to, at the very least, report on the progress of his city and coordinate projects between other leaders. Whether he is chosen democratically or dictatorially is up to the citizens of that city.
2. For settlements with more than 10 citizens, at least one person per ten citizens must serve as a representative on a city council and communicate the desires of his group to the rest of the council. Once again, how reps. are chosen and who they represent is determined by the city.
3. Each city will be given a subforum. They're free to set up sub-subforums for each trade, representative group, etc.
More to come

I'm guessing the eventual plan is to turn our current city into a capital, and having other PA'ers branch off to form smaller settlements and cities, all reporting to the central capital.
Seems like a neat idea, actually. Probably well into the future, but if this game holds my interest that long, I'd love to see how it turns out.

i think the key to long term fun in this game is going to be constant expansion coupled with military expeditions to the wild server - the sooner we get those started(and can actually support them) the better.
If we can send large raiding parties that are powerful fighters to wild, we can attack enemy villages, drain their tokens, and get silver to expand with... that and other exploration sounds incredibly fun.

I've got my nice little settlement out by the ocean that I've started working on again. There's only so much one man can do though. If eventually you guys want to turn it into an actual town, I might be down.
