It is past time we get a spot on merchant's row in NT for the ridiculously low price of 20c a month. This requires someone traveling there and back every once and a while, of course, but I think we can gain back the 10s for the contract in a few weeks, or less. So I need: - Someone trustworthy and active who is willing to travel back and forth between Arcadia and Newtown at least once a week. This person would have to set the prices and give the items to the trader.
- Suggestions for things to sell with the merchant.
- A name for the trader. (Remember this is in newtown, so dongs r us won't do.)
Things to sell (price seen) - Low QL compasses (only two I could find, in Aegis, were ql 1 and ql 18 at 1s and 3s)
- Lanterns (none found)
- pelts (20-40c depending on ql)
- wemp seeds (2c)
- cotton seeds (3c)
- tools (double retail value)
- meals (2c for 1kg ql27-29)

It might be worth it to sell things that new players need that are not often found on the dev trader. Stuff like low QL pelts and maybe some low QL tools (hammer, file, mallet) so that they don't need to make everything themselves.
There is prolly not a lot of money to be made on these items, but it still might be worth it and might make a good impression on new players for future recruits, if that is desired.

Holy crap, the only two compasses i could find were at aegis. The ql1 was selling for a silver, the ql 18 one was selling for 3s.
I want to travel to Newtown with goods today. I see pelts there for 20-40c, wemp seeds for 2c, cotton seeds for 3c, sheets for 30-50c (probably not worth selling yet), and tools for double their price to the town trader.
Crazy delicious.

Actually, I guess I can hold onto the merchant contract. We'll need several people to make the journey (so goods can be recovered if one of us falls), and I'm on more often than not.

Bought and paid for. Already sold an unsellable pelt for several copper.

And apparently meals are worth 1kg ql37 meals are worth 2c apiece. That's 2c for a vegetable and a filet of meat.

Well, another compass sold, and 8 more meals.
So that's around 3s in just a few days.

We basically spent all day making a trade depot, so now anybody can drop stuff off for the merchant.
