I think we need some fancy heraldry to represent our expanding empire, for advertisement and as a graphic to spruce up this threadbare forum. Wiki page on Coats of Arms just so we're all on the same page with standard layout and terms.I've only got a couple thoughts and suggestions to start off: 1) The Field should probably be blue and orange, invoking PA's logo. 4) I'd like to see local animals and itemsin the supporters, crest, and /or compartment. Like those damn spiders. 2) Can we try to keep the inclusion of wang minor and semi-work safe? We all know there's going to be one, I'm just suggesting it has a low profile. 3)I think we could put a circular border around it and make a State Seal. Or alternatively, make a separate seal with similar but different elements (might be an opportunity to have a public emblem while still letting said element from suggestion 2 be included in a heraldry).

Could the wang element be in a Latin motto? My Latin dictionary doesn't have "penis", though, so someone with a better knowledge of dirty words in dead languages will have to help in that area.

I think the Latin word you're looking for is "Phallus".

Wang in the motto was exactly what popped in my head (hurf durf) while wrapping up at work today. Something like 'live by the wang, die by the sword' or 'in wang we trust'.
In vino phallus? There's a latin one with a ring to it.
I'm voting for one of the supporters to be a giant spider, the other an embellished depiction of a bearshark. The compartment (if using one; we should take some liberties with the standard format) could depict the south road or dirt field.
Definitely take liberties with the helm, crest, and mantling; they traditionally depict the bearer's own helmet and headdress used in battle or jousting, and usually isn't used in the heraldries of women, clerics, or townships. So some craft or exploration-oriented arranged design would be nice. I've got no suggestions about the shield shape itself.

I'm putting In vino phallus as our motto for now.

Does that mean "Penis Wine"?

It's in the vein of in vino veritas - 'in wine, truth'.
So basically our motto comes out to 'there is wang in wine'.

Why not E Pluribus Phallus? "Wang from many", I guess.
