Would it make sense to just ditch most of T1 and move the settlement token south? Because, you know, it's not like we're going to have a chance to move the settlement token when we upgrade, or anything.... oh, wait. SUDDENLY IT'S LIKE MY POST WASN'T JUST RUBBISH!

Here's an open challenge to all diggers: The tile on the southeast corner of my plot (1T) was accidentally raised 1 level too high. Unfortunately, it shares a border with 3 other clay tiles. As such, it seems like it's impossible to lower the corner back down to level again. No matter which tile I dig from, I only get clay, and the corner doesn't go down (even the dirt tile). A shiny nickel to anyone who can find a way of lowering this errant corner to level! Fixed it. I will never reveal how, because I am like a magician.

Feel like letting us know, or at least me, as a fellow digger? Because I tried everything...digging at every corner, lowering another side of one of the tiles, even the dreaded "Flatten" command, none of which worked.

I think some of those T1 plots could have been comfortably 2x3 and crammed a few more people into town.

Because I tried everything...digging at every corner, lowering another side of one of the tiles, even the dreaded "Flatten" command, none of which worked. It was magic. (The trick is understanding how the flatten command works. It tries to average out the height of all the corners on the selected tile. So since the offending corner was 2 higher than the others, I dug out the opposite corner to 2 lower, then flattened, and it worked like a charm.) Who lit my thread on fire? Goddamn kids, always playing with their gasoline.

Greatest fear realized Bahamut, cave eats dirt. DOOOOOM
Edit:
The street tile next to the 1A and T2 was affected by the dirt eating black hole, flatten solved that, but it looks like the rest of the tiles near there are gonna suck.

Ugh. 1A may be unsalvageable then. I'll see what I can do.

Ok, drew up this modified plan: By making the unfinished areas lower, we can both save the lots on the east side too near the mine, and make the diggers' lives so much easier. Purple lots are already level and can be built on, the slope indicates where the transition cliff between the current level of tier 1 and the new lower levels would be. This will require modifying a few planned lots and yards, but I don't think that's a big deal, is it?

That map confuses and terrifies me, so I'll extend it from the boarders instead!

The dirt fairy came last night. Also Tier 10/6 is leveled out.
