What happens if mines are built inside houses? I ask for the possibility of cellars and secret tunnels in Arcadia. That would be nigh impossible for most of Arcadia, as you do have to get down to rock before you make a cave, and T2 wasn't leveled just to have it unleveled again.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that would be impossible. If it is possible you'd need a pretty big house since walls need to be on level ground.

Don't they? Err... well I guess they can be built with slopes externally, but on the inside?

House walls need to be on tile borders that have a level slope, I believe.

That doesn't make sense, since the first building we made at the old camp looked like a funhouse.

Even so, you still wouldn't be able to make a "cellar" in most of town, as we RAISED the land for almost all of each tier, which would thus require digging down so deep to hit rock that you'd be unable to climb out of the hole.
*Note I said "most", as some of the spaces for housing (specifically some of T3 near the slopes of T4) are near rock or not raised considerably.

do we have any estimates as to when the current SE shore mines will collapse? They're still 1-2 tiles deep when I checked last week.
